Sequoia Foundation provided funding for staff support to the California Department of Public Health (formerly the California Department of Health Services) for use to identify, retrieve, and ship 4,000 newborn dried blood spots from the Department’s archive to the Newborn Screening Branch, National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
