Overall description of capabilities

Project Timeline: 7/1/2006 - 6/30/2011

For this project, Sequoia Foundation  partnered with CDPH and CDC to assist California's statewide Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program target health care providers with low rates of childhood lead screening, allowing the agency to most efficiently direct limited resources to these providers. Sequoia staff also developed  outreach materials for these targeted providers that emphasize the importance of lead screenings and encourage more frequent testing.
