Public Health Research and Development
Sequoia works with local, state, federal, and international agencies to develop health policies, and establish and maintain comprehensive health programs to improve and protect public health. Our expertise includes conducting needs assessments and developing strategic plans; developing state wide and local health policies; designing and supporting health programs; and supporting programs by performing daily operations and monitoring activities. Sequoia has successfully collaborated with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institute of Science (NIH), the Genetic Disease Screening Program of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), the Environmental Health Investigations branch of CDPH, the Childhood Lead Prevention Program of CDPH, the Shanghai Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the University of California at Berkeley, Stanford University, US Environmental Protection Agency, and numerous others.
